Hello! My name is Danae Smith. I have been a Certified, Practicing Speech and Language Pathologist for 32 years. I have worked in mental health facilities and at all age level schools. Most of my experience has been with children ages 5-12. My expertise is in articulation, language and social language remediation. I pride myself on having a fun approach to serving children as well as an eclectic approach to treatment. I will be offering private services beginning August, 2023. On the water in my free time
I have specific training with auditory processing skills and Social Thinking Skills. In person services will be offered in the Evergreen/Conifer Area.
Rates: $80 per individual session that runs from 30-45 minutes.
$45 dollars per session for language and pragmatic group sessions. Groups will be limited to 4 students.

More about me: I am nearing my retirement years from Jefferson County School District. Most of my time has been spent at Marshdale Elementary School in Evergreen. My husband and I have two children, Jake and Shaina, and we are grandparents to Shaina and Justin's daughter, Melanie. Most of our time is spent with family and friends. I also love to walk my dog, hike and kayak. During the summer months, I find myself catching up on my reading.
